We would love to invite you to our singing day! Yes, it is a whole day of singing with a short performance at the end.
This year, we invited Joseph Judge to lead us through the selection of choruses from Handel's Messiah.
Joseph Judge is a Conductor, Music Director, Producer, Orchestrator, and Singer. He is Chorus Master of the Leeds Philharmonic Chorus, Artistic Director of the annual Exon Festival in Tavistock, and collaborates as an orchestrator and Music Director for film and TV productions. As Director of the Hallé Choral Academy, he inspires mixed ability singers to develop their vocal technique and sight-reading abilities through the singing of core repertoire. As a Countertenor, he also continues to perform regularly as an oratorio soloist.
We will be using the Novello Watkins Shaw Edition. Scores will be available to borrow.
The day will end with an informal performance for family and friends at 16:00 finishing at approximately 16:30
