🇵🇱 Czas i przestrzeń definiują muzykę pølaroit, duetu z północnych Niemiec, który w melodycznym deep house'ie wyraża przywiązanie do swoich korzeni i chwili. Ich nazwa łączy „Polar” – północne pochodzenie, z „Detroit” – miejscem narodzin techno. Jonas, pianista inspirowany neoklasyką, i Marius, perkusista z pasją do elektroniki, poznali się w 2018 roku, a już pierwsza wspólna sesja zaowocowała utworem „Firøye”.
Debiutancka EP-ka „expedition into” (Stil vor Talent) ugruntowała ich nastrojowe, melancholijne brzmienie, doceniane w Niemczech i za granicą. Współpracowali z Deutsche Grammophon, Cercle i MEUTE, tworząc nowatorskie projekty, jak „Backwaters” i „Verden”. Łącząc nagrania terenowe i wokale, pølaroit nadaje swojej muzyce ludzki, organiczny wymiar.

🇺🇸Time and space define the music of pølaroit, a duo from northern Germany who express their connection to their roots and the present moment through melodic deep house. Their name combines "Polar," referencing their northern origins, and "Detroit," the birthplace of techno. Jonas, a pianist inspired by neoclassicism, and Marius, a percussionist passionate about electronic music, met in 2018, and their first studio session quickly resulted in the track "Firøye."
Their debut EP, expedition into (Stil vor Talent), established their dark, melancholic sound, gaining recognition in Germany and beyond. They have collaborated with Deutsche Grammophon, Cercle, and MEUTE, producing innovative projects like "Backwaters" and "Verden." By incorporating field recordings and vocals, pølaroit infuses their music with a human and organic touch.
