In recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the arts and his enduring connection to his hometown, the Scurry County Commissioners Court has officially proclaimed October 10, 2026, as Powers Boothe Day in Scurry County. Join us as we celebrate this special occasion with the documentary's world premiere.
As part of SPARK! Places of Innovation and our Celebrating the Arts theme week, this special screening honors the creative legacy of a hometown talent whose work reached audiences around the world.
Appropriately, the premiere will take place in Worsham Auditorium at Snyder High School, named for Jerry Worsham, another legendary figure in Snyder's arts community whose leadership helped establish one of Texas' most successful UIL One-Act Play programs.
