Power Up Your Skills: Split Heat Pump Water Heater Training & Fair
About this Event
Join us for a split heat pump water heater (HPWH) training event that will include interactive training and a manufacturer trade fair during Heat Pump Water Heater Week – October 26-29. Split HPWHs are an emerging HPWH technology where the compressor is separated from the tank and located outdoors. Split HPWHs are thought to be an important and missing form factor for HPWHs and with several new manufacturers releasing products in the last year, this training will educate contractors, students, and others interested in this efficient technology. This event will be in-person, with a live streaming element for virtual participation.

- Receive an overview of split HPWH technology
- Gain training on how to size and install a split HPWH system
- Learn about the different types of split systems (monobloc and refrigerant based)
- See examples of split technology and have questions answered directly by manufacturers
