Hear how the team protects natural spaces, supports recreation, and enhances quality of life for residents. This session highlights every step of the profession—from the hiring and onboarding process to the Park Ranger Academy and the work Rangers perform in the field. Gain insight into County career paths and the meaningful impact these roles have across our parks system.
  • 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM - Medical Assistant Careers in County Health Spotlight Session
    Learn about Medical Assistant roles and other career opportunities within the County’s correctional health system. This session provides a realistic look at what the work entails and how staff contribute to the health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals in custody. Participants will gain an understanding of daily responsibilities, team collaboration, and how these essential services support both patient care and broader public health.
  • 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM - Ask‑a‑Recruiter Open Forum
    Bring your questions to this open forum with County recruiters. Get practical job‑search advice, and insights into County career pathways. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities or preparing to apply, recruiters will provide guidance to help you navigate the hiring process and position yourself for success.

Computer Lab:

We’re excited to offer a fully equipped computer lab onsite, complete with laptops and friendly staff ready to help. Whether you want to apply for jobs on the spot or explore new opportunities, our team will be there to guide you through every step. Feel free to stop by, get hands-on support, and make the most of the resources available at the expo.

Headshots:

Join us for complimentary headshots on a first-come-first serve basis for the first 100 people. Whether you’re starting out or looking to refresh your look, stop by our photo station!

Raffle:

Don't miss our Grand Prize Raffle! Each grand prize includes an exclusive meet‑and‑greet with a member of department leadership plus a guided tour of the facility. It’s a fun way to get an inside look at the organization, make meaningful connections, and experience the workplace from the inside out. Winners will be contacted post-event.

Event Parking:

Free event parking can be found in the parking lot located directly across from James P. McEntee Plaza, located at W Hedding and N First and the parking lot located at W Hedding and N San Pedro. Paid parking can be found along the street and at the Civic Center Parking Garage. Carpooling is highly encouraged.

If using public transportation, please use the Blue and Green VTA light rail lines and the Civic Center stop.
