How do I get into the rooms I’m not currently in?
When is it time to stop playing safe and ask for more?

The Power Room: Ambition, Unfiltered is an evening for women building businesses, growing careers and thinking seriously about what they want next.

We’re bringing together women who have done it, and asking them the questions we actually want answers to.

Not just “Tell us about your journey.”

We want to know how they got the opportunity. How they negotiated. How they built the relationship. What they got wrong. What they spent money on that they shouldn’t have. When they knew it was time to leave, hire, raise, pivot or ask for more.

There will be two conversations during the evening:

BUILDING THE BUSINESS
A candid conversation about customers, money, funding, pricing, hiring, partnerships, negotiation and what it really takes to grow a business.

BUILDING THE CAREER
An honest conversation about pay, promotions, visibility, influence, career moves, motherhood, senior relationships and knowing when it’s time for something more.

But The Power Room has never just been about the women speaking.

The room matters too.

We’re bringing together a brilliant group of founders, entrepreneurs, senior professionals and women in leadership. There will be dinner, drinks and plenty of time to actually talk to one another.

We’ll also be creating opportunities throughout the evening to ask the questions you might not normally ask publicly, bring a real challenge to the room and make useful introductions between women who should know each other.

No awkward networking.
No polished answers for the sake of it.
No pretending we don't want more.

Just good food, good conversation and a room full of women worth knowing.
