London-based photography platform Bonkale Photography is proud to announce an exclusive upcoming exhibition straight to the heart of London.
This immersive cultural event invites art enthusiasts, members of the diaspora, and the public to experience a deeply personal visual journey.
Curated by a talented London-based photographer documenting their recent journey back home, the exhibition showcases 20 to 25 striking works exploring several key themes:
- Sport: The dynamic energy of local football scenes in Kinshasa, captured at Stade des Martyrs.
- Portraiture: Intimate captures of people and daily life, featuring scenes along the Congo River and Kinkole.
- Wildlife: The serene natural beauty and conservation captured at Parc de la Vallée de la N'Sele and the Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary.
- Fashion: The bold, vibrant patterns of traditional liputa textiles.
Beyond the gallery walls, the evening will be a full celebration of Congolese culture, featuring live traditional music and an authentic selection of Congolese dishes.
Please note; Selected photographic works will be on display in A1 and A2 sizes and available for purchase following the exhibition.
