About this Event
As menstruators, we're deeply connected in many ways – our cycles being just one of them.
To deepen this connection, join us for a one-of-a-kind tea party to celebrate women’s health & wellness in honor of Menstrual Health Day.
Through gentle movement, interactive activities, and engaging conversations, we'll cover:
- Menstruality consciousness and wellness practices to live happier, healthier lives from puberty to menopause
- Local and global issues surrounding period poverty & stigma and ways to make a difference!
Surge for Water is honored to bring this program to you in partnership with amazing local organizations: She Votes IL, The Period Collective, & UIC Blood Buds
W e can't wait to share a lovely afternoon over tea, coffee, and light refreshments. To help set the mood, “period” inspired clothing is encouraged – but not required. Think red, pink, etc.
Special thanks to Catalyst Ranch for hosting us!
This event is open to all menstruators (pre & post included).
