About this Event
Join us on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. for an in-depth conversation with Dr. Nirvana Manning and Dr. Sarah Berg about perimenopause and menopause: both crucial transitional phases in women’s health. Together, they will dispel long-standing myths and provide practical guidance to help women and their families navigate this life stage with confidence.
Menopause is often an overlooked aspect of women’s health, even though each year, more than two million women in the U.S. enter this transitional stage of their lives. Seventy-five percent of women leave their doctor’s office untreated. The beginning stages of menopause, perimenopause, are even more often overlooked. With symptoms that can last up to a decade and affect nearly every system in the body, menopause deserves greater visibility, better care, and stronger advocacy.
During this empowering and uplifting Women’s History Month event, the silence will be broken, and this conversation will empower healthier, more informed lives before, during, and after menopause.
The program will be available on the Clinton Center’s YouTube channel the following day.
This program is presented by the Clinton Foundation.
