A 1 day Movement Medicine workshop

💥An opportunity to be in dance together to dive in and gather the gold and the power that lies in the dark when we surrender to it in celebration and honour of life💥

The dark of the winter & the full moon 🌕 invite us to dive in and welcome what is moving inside.

...There is a medicine in the dark. Letting it cut deeper. Feeling what we are feeling while being held through it. 

...There is power in vulnerability. When we allow ourselves to accept what is truly here that's when we connect to our authentic power.

...There is gold in the dark. In the depths of our heart in what we may be avoiding or fearing in the wisdom of the dancer within. 

...There is warmth in the dark. In the togetherness of moving together supporting each other coming together as living humans. 

When we offer it all to the dance it alchemizes. 

Our soul shines steering us forth into aliveness and deeper alignment.

Let's surrender again and again to the dance itself until magic happens ❤️✨

Come as you are cozy wild inward dark bright and all the shades in between🕺🏻

We will be landing in movement medicine practice gather resources and then having a deeper dance in ceremony of dark and light.

(for clarification we will not be dancing with blindfolds. *dark* as this winter season and time of the year invites us to dance with that quality of dark inside & outside)

9.45am Doors open (please be on time!)

10 - 1pm Morning practice

1-2pm Lunch (bring your own)

2-5pm Dance Ceremony

*Tea and Water will be provided all day!

This event will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.

You will be fully refunded for your ticket in case the organizer needs to cancel the event.

✦ MOVEMENT MEDICINE ✦

It is a conscious dance practice/ movement meditation that was developed by Ya'Acov and Susannah Darling Khan influenced by their many years teaching 5Rhythms shamanism and psychotherapeutic practices.

Movement Medicine can be healing transformational a safely held space and an opportunity to be with yourself as yourself with others in community enjoying great music and light guidance ❤️

✦ ABOUT SHIVANI ✦

Shivani brings presence warmth full heart wilderness and softness depth and authenticity freedom and lots of dance to all her offerings from group sessions to 1-1 coaching. 

Trained in Dance/ Movement Psychotherapy and Movement Medicine in UK she has been teaching Movement Medicine for the past 8 years in Lisbon and Aljezur in UK and also online. 

She loves to dance; her dance and embodied presence is one of her main assets and inspirations to others as much as her depth of feeling and her quest for truth freedom and authenticity in the way she lives her life. 

Her approach draws from other conscious dance and embodiment practices tantra and conscious sexuality psychotherapy meditation and satsang. She is an ISTA graduate and is currently assisting Elaine Yong. 

She is also a Tantrika having been offering 1-1 sessions workshops and Temple spaces in India and Bali. Further back she has also studies in Medicine and Photography.
