On 12/21/24, Paige started a fever and quickly became ill. She was taken to a local ER where she tested positive for Para Influenza and Non-Covid Corona Virus. The Corona Virus started to attack Paige's liver and she went into acute liver failure. She was then quickly life flighted to CHOP. Paige was intubated and put on supportive care to help her body heal. This is the 2nd year that Paige and her family celebrated the holidays in the PICU at CHOP. Paige is slowly moving forward, but at this time her and her family have no idea when they will be able to return home.
We are doing a t-shirt fundraiser (through This Life Apparel on Facebook) and a bowling event fundraiser to raise money for Paige's medical bills, future therapies and treatments, etc. I have attached the flyers and information. If anyone is able to buy a shirt, donate a basket, get a team of bowlers, or sponsor a lane, it is beyond appreciated by the family. Please reach out with any questions.
