Poverty Sensitive Practice Training - In-person at The Wellgate

Learning outcomes:

• Raise awareness of poverty and health inequalities
• Improve understanding of how health inequalities, poverty and stigma affect people’s lives
• Explore why responding to health inequalities, poverty and stigma is everyone’s business
• Increase skills for inequalities sensitive practice
• Raise awareness of the importance of signposting people to support
• How to adopt/encourage others to adopt inequalities sensitive practice

Participants will be supported to critically reflect on their own practice and explore how these issues impact people in Tayside, and what this means for the way we deliver services.
