Pouring Possibili-Tea: Tea Tasting & Gathering
About this Event
Hosted by Bagaan Chai Co. & Open Test Kitchen.
Join us on Saturday, July 18 from 5:00–7:30 PM for an intimate evening of tea tasting, community, and meaningful conversation.
Together, we’ll gather over cups of tea to explore regenerative agriculture, colonial supply chains, and the role of tea in understanding the climate crisis. From the fields where tea is grown to the cup in our hands, tea carries stories of land, labor, culture, extraction, and possibility.
Come sip, reflect, mingle, and meet others interested in building more just, regenerative futures.
---
Bagaan Chai Co. is a farmer-led, direct-trade tea company rooted in a six-generation anti-colonial tea farming legacy from Assam, India. As one of India’s first regenerative tea brands, Bagaan is reimagining tea beyond colonial supply chains by reinvesting in Indigenous and regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, and community-led futures.
Open Test Kitchen is building a community hub with and for chefs, neighbors, culture bearers, organizers, and activists. They host spaces for people to nurture direct and local economies, and to gather for play, learning, culture, healing and collaboration.
