Make a tea light candle house
When: 21st September at 2pm-4pm
Where: Big Mac Slab, Mazengarb Road, Paraparaumu

These houses are perfect as a decoration in your home for festive times like Christmas, or a gift for a friend. Making these houses aren't difficult and Fiona will will guide you in making a house that survives the kiln. Each one will be unique to you and in your style. Once they are finished you can put tea light candles or seeds lights into them to make them look like someone is home.
All materials are provided and each participant chooses a glaze colour for their house to be glazed. Fiona takes the items back to Whanganui to dry and then she fires and glazes them the colours chosen. Each participant will be given approximately 1kg of tan coloured clay and equipment needed. Completed Houses are collected from Big Mac Slabs about 6 weeks after the class.
