Pottery Wheel Pumpkins Two Week Workshop at Locust Street Art
About this Event
Did you know that you can make pumpkins on the pottery wheel? In this intermediate pottery wheel class, students will learn how to make a closed form vessel, how to shape it into a pumpkin, and how to add a curly stem! We will also trim and glaze the pumpkins in the second workshop session—optionally, turn your pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern, ready to illuminate the room with just a tealight candle.
This workshop will run for two consecutive weeks.
Workshop Dates:
October 14th, 6-8pm
October 21st, 6-8pm
Ages 16+
Class runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm each day of class. Please note that makeup classes are not offered for student absences. In the event of a class cancellation, a makeup class will be scheduled.
Artwork created during class will be ready for pick up on October 24th.
Accessibility
Locust Street Art is located in a historic building with about nine steps to get into the building. We are currently fundraising to make our building more accessible.
