Not quite ready to leave the beginner wheel behind? Perfect—you’re exactly where you need to be.

Pottery Level 1.5 is designed for students who have completed Level 1 and want more time to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and get their hands a little muddier (in the best way). This is your space to slow down, refine your technique, and really feel the clay.

We’ll continue developing core skills like centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing—but with a twist. Alongside guided practice, you’ll start exploring your own creative ideas through student-led projects. Want to perfect your mugs? Try a new form? Experiment with texture? This is your chance.

Expect a supportive, low-pressure environment where mistakes are part of the magic and progress happens at your pace. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident at the wheel and better prepared to take on Level 2.
