🏺 Beginner to Intermediate Pottery Wheel Workshop 🏺
Ready to get your hands dirty? Join us for a fun and relaxing pottery wheel experience where you'll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing while creating your own handmade pottery.
This class is perfect for both beginners and those with a little wheel experience who want to build their skills. Our instructor will guide you through the entire process, including centering the clay, opening, pulling walls, and shaping your piece.
Each guest will receive 1 1/-2 pounds of clay and two opportunities (a total of 3 pounds of clay) on the pottery wheel to create their project. Whether you're trying the wheel for the first time or refining your technique, this class is designed to help you succeed while having fun.
Workshop Includes:
🏺 3 pounds of clay
✨ Two throwing attempts on the pottery wheel
👩🎨 Step-by-step instruction
🔥 Kiln firing of one finished piece
No experience is necessary, but guests with some pottery wheel experience are welcome too! Every piece is unique, and part of the fun is embracing the creative process.
Please Note: Pottery on the wheel takes practice, and not every attempt is successful. Don't worry—our instructors are there to help, and the experience is just as rewarding as the finished piece! Finished pottery will be ready for pickup after firing and glazing, typically in about 2 weeks.
When reserving your seat, you will pay a $10 NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERRABLE deposit that will be applied to your total of $59 at checkout on the day of your class.
This class is intended for guests aged 12 and older.
