Pottery on a Budget w/John Caucutt
June 25, 2026 from 7-8 pm
As part of the Dorothy Godtland Lecture Series, the Board of Directors is pleased to present John Caucutt (BA, Fine Art, UW-La Crosse) and his program “Pottery on a Budget”
John brings a resourceful approach to the Art Center. This presentation focuses on 'Pottery on a Budget,' demonstrating how to create high-quality mini-pottery using a microwave as a kiln and common kitchen tools as studio equipment. By embracing the size limitations of the microwave kiln, John shows how anyone can master the fundamentals of pottery without the need for a large studio or expensive machinery. Discover how to turn a small space into a creative and productive artist’s laboratory."
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
