Pottery Handbuilding Workshop

Come and join us at Hope St for a creative handbuilding pottery workshop.

Morning Session 9.30-12 (Sessions Available Sat 5th & Sun 6th April)

During this relaxed session you will using slabs to make a vessel such as a vase, desk tidy, pen pot etc.. The first half of the session will be constructing your item, mid morning we will take a break for tea/coffee & cake/pastries then glaze your creations ready to be taken away to be kiln fired off site.

No experience needed, children aged 10 + are welcome tp partcipate with a participating adult.

Your creations will be ready for you to collect from Hope St approximately 3 weeks later. We will email you to confirm when they are ready to collect.

Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for craft

The 2.5 hour session including use of all materials and equipment plus the kiln firing of your finished pieces.

Don's forget to pop in and look round the Craft Fayre at the end of your session.

Afternoon Session 12.30-4pm Fun Funky Birds (Sessions Available Sat 5th & Sun 6th April)

Each participant will make and decorate up to 3 birds

During this relaxed session you will using slabs to make beautiful realistic or fantasy birds to hang in your garden or home. The first half of the session will be making up to 3 birds from clay slabs. Mid afternoon we will take a break for tea/coffee & cake/pastries then colour & glaze your creations ready to be taken away to be kiln fired off site.

No experience needed, children aged 10 + are welcome tp partcipate with a participating adult.

Your creations will be ready for you to collect from Hope St approximately 3 weeks later. We will email you to confirm when they are ready to collect.
