Week 7* (1st – 3rd July): Pottery: In this short week of pottery class, you will learn the basics of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. You will be introduced to the tools and materials necessary to create your unique pieces, such as pinch pots, coil pots, and slab-built forms. You'll also learn how to throw on the pottery wheel, centering the clay, and shaping it into bowls, cups, and other functional objects.
