MATERIALS LIST: Students will be provided with a 25 lb bag of white stoneware clay (cone 5) and a variety of glaze options.
Please Note: Due to the number of classes, we offer and the size of our kilns, all work to be fired as a part of this class must be created in the studio. No items may be fired as a part of the class that have been created at home. Any outside work would need to be fired as a separate kiln rental.

Instructor Bio:
Kim Clarke grew up in Los Angeles where she attended art classes at Barnsdall Art Center Hollywood and the Pasadena Asian Museum as a child. She studied ceramics at Glendale College, Los Angeles City College and Moorpark College and has been working on her craft for over 30 years. Pulling from her imagination Kim has developed a unique style of whimsical figures showing influences from Maurice Sendak & Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Her works reside in galleries and private collections all over the world in including France and Australia.
