PoTS UK: In Person Peer Support and Practical Advice

An afternoon of chat, peer support and education. Listen to both peers and healthcare professionals as well as seeking and sharing guidance.
About this Event

Please join us for an afternoon of chat, peer support, and education. You will have the opportunity to listen to talks from healthcare professionals as well as others living with PoTS who will share their story and top tips on managing this condition. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn from others. 

The event will run from 1-5.30pm. 

This is a very relaxed and informal event, predominantly focused on peer support and providing a space where you can be with people who truly understand. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with PoTS for many years, everyone is welcome. 

You are welcome to bring a family member/friend however everyone attending must purchase their own ticket to ensure we have adequate space available. Ideally we ask that you do not bring more than 1 family member/friend with you unless essential as we have limited space and want to be able to offer tickets to those living with PoTS.

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and some afternoon treats are included in the price of the ticket. We have kept the price of the event as low as possible to make it accessible but please do contact us if you would like to attend but the price is prohibitive. 

Please note that the healthcare professionals won’t be able to give any individual medical advice but will be able to speak generally and help signpost. 

This is event is open to those aged 16+. 

The agenda is still being finalised, but it will include a talk from Dr Lesley Kavi and Dr Helen Eftekhari followed by a Q&A session. We will also hear from someone living with PoTS and learn about their journey and how they best manage it as well as plenty of opportunities to talk with your peers, share experiences and make new friends who really understand.
