Potato ContestThe potatoes planted this year are called “Cara” and are a late variety. Digging up can begin in the last week of September into early October. All potato weights must be given to Lyn Grant by Tuesday 8th October, to allow her to collate the results. A committee member may contact you but if not, please dig your own up and email the weight to [email protected]
The potato awards evening is on October 15th at 7pm. A supper will be provided at a cost of £5 per person. This must be booked in advance, so please say if you want one when you email in your potato results. It is always a fun evening, and awards are given for all sorts of things!!!! You are invited to come along, even if you haven’t grown a potato.
