The months after welcoming a new baby bring ongoing changes, new emotions, and plenty of questions as your little one grows. Whether you’re in the early weeks or several months in, join Abriona Markham, Doula with the Topeka Doula Project, to learn more about the postpartum period and discover helpful local resources to support you along the way. This workshop will be offered on Tuesday, October 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center in Gage Park.
This workshop is part of Discovery Baby, a free, fun program designed to introduce babies and their caregivers to a world of learning and play! Parents who attend can meet other parents with babies and chat with experts in a casual, welcoming setting at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, when the museum is closed to the general public. The program is open to parents with a child under 12 months old. Only babies and their caregivers may attend. No advance registration or sign-up is required.
