Postcard from Home by Drew Nelson

A solo exhibition by Toronto based artist Drew Nelson, featuring hand cut paper artwork, papercraft instillations, and photo collage celebrating the themes of home, identity, and pride.This exploration of identity, home, and pride is both personal and universal. The imagery that has helped shaped me is also what connects us-the streetcars and subways where we travel together; and the stamps we use to stay connected through the mail. The colours of Pride that unite us as a community; and props from theatres where we laugh together in the dark.
