Post-Gras Plogging & Demo Run: Pick up trash & win some shoes!

Mardi Gras may be over, but the clean-up has just begun! Join us for a demo run with a fun plogging twist: try out a pair of new shoes from Hylo while you pick up debris along your route. The person who picks up the most trash by weight wins a pair of Hylo running shoes!

This free event will take place in conjunction with the Thursday night run club at Braided River. As always, kiddos and dogs are welcome to join.

All clean-up supplies will be provided, courtesy of Mobile Baykeeper and Alabama People Against a Littered State, with additional marketing support from Alabama Coastal Foundation. Please RSVP your Facebook event if you plan to attend so we make sure to have enough supplies for everyone.

Event schedule:

• 5:45 PM - Check-in and supply pick-up at Braided River Brewing.

• 6:00 PM - Clean-up contest begins! Participants may collect trash anywhere they can get to by foot in the downtown area.

• 7:00 PM - Deadline to report back to Braided River for trash weigh-in.

• 7:30 PM - Winner announcement and drawing for prizes!
