COME SHOW OFF YOUR BARBECUE SKILLS!YOUR TEAM WILL COMPETE IN PORK, POULTRY AND BEEF CATEGORIES
TROPHY'S AND CASH PRIZES!
(ALL COOKING MUST BE COMPLETED ON SITE)
NO ENTRY FEE! - YOU PROVIDE YOUR MEATS AND SNACKS
$25 includes
* BBQ DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE POST 85
* TWO BANDS AND BE ABLE TO
TRY BBQ SNACKS FROM THE COMPETITORS! (Snacks availability first come first served starting at 3pm)
* ROCKFEST WILL START AT 1 PM bands include NorthEast Grove and Fat Angus an AC/DC tribute band.
This is a rain or shine event. The Post has a very large pavilion where the bands and tables and chairs will be provided.
Bring your lawn chairs if you would like to sit outside!
Large outdoor cash bar will be open! ATM on site
***BBQ COMPETITION RULES***
EQUIPMENT ALLOWED:
OFFSET SMOKERS, CHARCOAL GRILLS, PELLET GRILLS.
LIMITED POWER WILL BE AVAILABLE - YOU MUST PROVIDE EXTENSION CORDS (GENERATORS WELCOME FOR UNINTERRUPTED POWER)
COOK FOR # TBD JUDGES
BRING YOUR OWN MEAT & INGREDIENTS
JUDGED ON TASTE, TEXTURE & PRESENTATION

PORK - ANYTHING SNOUT TO TAIL
BEEF -ANYTHING FROM MOUTH TO TAIL POULTRY - DOES IT HAVE FEATHERS?
You do not have to enter every category if you do not want to.
15x15 SPACE PROVIDED (LARGER IF SET BEFORE HAND)
ONSITE COOKING ONLY!
YOU MAY PREP AT HOME, BUT NOTHING CAN BE COOKED AHEAD OF TIME. FOOD WILL BE CHECKED UPON SETUP.
EVENT MUSIC: 1 PM
JUDGING STARTS: 2 PM
CONTAINERS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO TEAMS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GARNISH.
This is a novice competition, don't be afraid to try something new!
PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD - Please plan on 100-150 small tasting portions.
TASTINGS OF OUR BBQ START AT 3 PM
(CONTESTANTS WILL HAVE TIME TO PRESENT THEIR FOOD FOR THE COMPETITION BEFORE SNACKS WILL BE HANDED OUT)
All charcoal and embers must be moved to the on-site fire pit at the end of the competition to cut down the risk of fire.
Please message the event page with your team name and contact information, approximate size area needed, electric needed? Again limited and you must provide extension cords.
Again, ONSITE COOKING ONLY!
