Poss Music Works presents our 2025 FUN-raiser party! Get your pearl snaps & cowboy hats, we're two-steppin'! Join us in the Loft at Village Wine & Gifts (3rd floor, accessible) for a night of great music, and toe-tappin' tunes.
Time to K*ll is our house band, with many special guests including LUCAS WAYNE joining! Expect originals and country, western swing & two-step classics you can swing around the floor to.

- Two Step lessons by REAL TEXANS - Brit Ginn Passalacqua & her parents Kari Lynne & John from Schulenberg will be teaching & dancing with us!
Join us as your pre-Valentine's Date destination, or just to enjoy a super special night of musical revelry and dance.
Two-step dress HIGHLY encouraged- pearl snaps, jeans, sequins/fringe/rhinestones, cowboy boots, hats, belt buckles, bolo ties, . . spurs optional. ;)
KIDS ARE WELCOME til 9pm - come on out, lil' pardners! Entry is free for them, but if you want to buy them dinner, it's just a $10 ticket.
For the big'uns, we will have a Cash Bar, cash & card accepted.
Expect a 50/50, some draw-rings, maybe a bake sale / dessert table . . .. who knows?
This party is a birthday celebration for board member & longtime volunteer coordinator Erin Goldstein! Eat, drink & be merry, your presence is gift enough!
TICKETS
Event + Dinner for 1 is $50, available advance only (unless we announce otherwise)
Couples/Besties - 2 tickets (event + dinner) for $95 available advance only
8-top tables $350 (includes event + dinner for 8 people) available in advance only.
Kids 15 & under - free entry, $10 dinner ticket (if desired)
Dance Tickets (no meal) per person are $30 at the door only, if space allows. Entry begins 6:45pm.

**Please note - as a personal fundraiser, this event is NOT included in the 2025 Poss Music Works All-Access Pass. You do get into Moccasin Creek Festival, Summer Sundown Festival, and Little Grassy Get Down, as well as any other ticketed shows we present in Effingham.)

- Lucas Wayne, is a storyteller at heart singing about the everyday experience, and places he’s been, growing up in rural Eastern Kentucky and Southern Illinois. With a classically trained vocal range and natural vibrato Lucas Wayne stuns crowds with his voice alone. Paired with his heartfelt, often funny or devastatingly sad songs he’s been captivating bars, halls, and anywhere he can as a performing artist.
Time to K*ll, headed by our very own Garrett Burris, is a staple of the live music scene here in Effingham & Central Illinois (and beyond)!

Poss Music Works is a 501c3 Not-For-Profit with a mission to bring and foster music and culture to the Downstate Illinois area, with Effingham, IL as ground zero. We present music festivals and one-off music shows featuring national and regional original music touring acts, as well as youth and community events throughout the year. The organization was formed by Bill Passalacqua in 2018 and is dedicated to fulfilling his vision for the area's music community.
Poss Music Works aims to instill an interest in, and love of, great Americana music in the regions youth. All of our festivals offer free admission to patrons 15 and under. We provide youth open mics around the region and we are attempting to partner with communities to present ‘youth music shows’ featuring young performers, for young patrons in family friendly environments.
