Join us at Natalie’s Estate Winery for the first class in our Around the World Appetizer Cooking Series—a delicious culinary journey through four celebrated food and wine regions. Classes will be taught by Amy Civica, the Kitchen Fairy.

Our first destination is Portugal, where coastal cuisine, bold rustic flavors, fresh ingredients, and time-honored traditions come together.
During this fun, hands-on cooking experience, you’ll learn to prepare three Portuguese-inspired appetizers. Then enjoy the dishes you’ve created, each thoughtfully paired with a handcrafted Natalie’s Estate Winery wine.
Portuguese Appetizer Menu
Portuguese Garlic Shrimp with Grilled Country Bread
Succulent shrimp sautéed with garlic, olive oil, herbs, and a touch of spice, served alongside rustic grilled country bread.
Portuguese Chouriço & Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms
Savory mushrooms filled with Portuguese-style chouriço and cheese, then baked until golden, warm, and delicious.
Presunto-Wrapped Melon with Honey & Mint
Sweet melon wrapped in thin slices of Portuguese presunto, finished with a drizzle of honey and fresh mint.
Three Appetizers. Three Wine Pairings.
Each appetizer will be perfectly paired with a Natalie’s Estate Winery wine, selected to complement and enhance the flavors of the dish.
