We will start lining up outside SSU's Vern Riffe Center for the Arts at 2:30 PM, then march down 𝓖𝓪𝔂 Street (hehe) to the park! Festivities at Tracy Park run from 3:00 to 6:00 with music, lots of love, and of course: DRAG!
We continue to honor the life and legacy of our beloved friend Jason Moore and others we have lost this year.

🚨 BEFORE YOU CELEBRATE — TAKE 5 MINUTES TO FIGHT FOR US 🚨
Ohio HB249 — the so-called "Indecent Exposure Modernization Act" — passed the Ohio House on March 25th and is now in the Senate. The bill creates a new criminal offense called "unlawful adult cabaret performance" and broadly redefines public indecency in ways that put drag performers, trans Ohioans, and our community at real risk. It's drag bans and bathroom bills dressed up in new language — and it's one Senate vote and one signature away from becoming law.
Here's what you can do RIGHT NOW:
📞 Call your Ohio State Senator and ask them to vote NO on HB249. Call the Senate switchboard at (614) 466-4900.
📞 Call Governor DeWine's office at (614) 644-4357 and urge him to VETO HB249 if it reaches his desk.
A short script works fine: "Hi, my name is [name], I'm a constituent from [city/zip], and I'm calling to urge [Senator ___ / the Governor] to oppose HB249. This bill targets drag performers and LGBTQ+ Ohioans and has no place in our state."
Calls take two minutes. They get counted. They matter.
