About this Event
We’re delighted to be hosting our event at the fabulous Waterfront Bar & Kitchen in Portreath — perched on Portreath’s harbour edge, beside the Little Beach.
With ample car parking right next to the venue and a gorgeous outdoor terrace overlooking the water, it’s the perfect setting to relax, enjoy a drink and meet new people. 💕
How it works;
6:30pm – Ticket Holder Arrival
Arrive from 6:30pm, with last entry at 7:15pm. This relaxed arrival window gives you plenty of time to arrive at your own pace.
We’ll welcome you, briefly explain how the evening works, and get you settled in. Grab yourself a refreshing drink — perhaps even a cocktail! 🍸
The beginning window gives you a great opportunity to chat with fellow daters, settle in and soak up the atmosphere before the dating begins.
🔔 7:30pm – First Bell
The first bell signals the start of your dates, so please be table ready and prepared to natter!
7:30pm – 9:30pm | Speed Dating
Let the dating begin! 💕 Ladies stay seated, gentlemen rotate when the bell rings. You’ll have five minutes per date, with up to 14 dates throughout the evening. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to mingle, with relaxed intervals for a toilet break, refreshing your drink and getting to know your fellow daters.
📝 Matchcards
Simply fill in your matchcard as you go — write down each date’s name and indicate whether you’d like to see them again. Once you’ve completed your dates, hand your matchcard to the host and we’ll take care of the rest. 💘
🍸 Stay & Mingle
All guests are welcome to stay, enjoy the bar and continue mingling after the speed dating finishes, right through until closing time.
💌 After the Event;
Match results will be emailed the following day, including phone numbers for mutual matches. Who makes the next move?That’s entirely up to you…
