LESSON DESCRIPTION
Follow Styling & Lead Listening
Often we think of partner dance as a form in which leads do much of the work — thinking of what's coming next, choosing moves, directing things. But fusion, and many other partner styles, are actually more of a conversation. What needs to happen in order for leads to be more attentive to follows' ideas and creativity, and how can follows know the best time to craft the dance?
Join us in this lesson to explore how to amplify follows' voices and contributions to the dance, making your fusion dancing more of a shared craft. We'll go over how leads can tell when a follow is signaling things, and how follows can add flair to their dancing within the partnered framework.

PRICING
Sliding Scale: $15 - $60 (no one turned away for lack of funds)
STUFF TO KNOW
Our dances are mask optional: If you are sick please stay home and get better, if you have recently been sick or exposed to respiratory illness, please stay home or wear a mask.
You do not need to bring a partner, everyone dances with everyone.
Be sure to bring water and a pair of clean, soft-soled shoes — no street shoes are allowed in the studio. Please help us in taking care of our lovely floor.
