Port Huron Museums' HOPStoberfest Beer Tasting!

HOPStoberfest is back! A fun filled evening of beer tasting, live music, games, and special entertainment at the historic Carnegie Museum! Work your way through exhibits new and old while tasting a variety of craft beers from around the state, all for a good cause! This year all funds raised through this event will benefit the restoration of the Thomas Edison Depot Museum.

Opened on February 11, 2001, the Thomas Edison Depot Museum was the second satellite facility to open as part of the Port Huron Museum. It is housed inside the historic Fort Gratiot train depot built in 1858 by the Grand Trunk Railway, and is the actual depot that Thomas Edison worked out of as a news reporter between 1859 and 1863. Trains connecting here carried people and freight between Port Huron and Detroit, Point Edward/Sarnia (Ontario), and other destinations, linking Port Huron to the rest of the world.

Cost of general and member admission includes 6 drink tickets. Additional drink tickets available for purchase.

For the first time this year, we are also excited to announce a Designated Driver Special, for those who want to join in the fun, but not the alcohol. Ticket cost includes admission to the event, all of the activities that are a part of it, but does not include the wristband for alcoholic beverages.

General Admission - $45.

Museum Members - $35

Designated Driver Special - $25

Must be 21 years or older to attend (Yes - even for the Designated Driver Special).
