The Port Deposit Heritage Corporation, founded in 1975, invites you to experience the charm of their bi-annual Christmas Candlelight Tour on Saturday, December 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Listen to beautiful holiday favorites sung by the Grace Elly Duo during this enchanting event that will take you through 15 historic stops, including scenic views atop the bluff overlooking the river and throughout our picturesque town.The tour begins at the Heritage Museum in the Paw Paw Building, located at 98 N. Main Street, where you can purchase tickets: $25 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-17. Advance tickets are also available online through Zeffy, and by visiting the Port Deposit Heritage's page at linktr.ee/PortDepositHeritage. Members will receive a $5 cash rebate. While you're there, be sure to check out items in our online auction, also on display inside the Paw Paw Building.
This year’s tour includes stops at iconic locations such as the Donaldson Brown Conference Center above town, as well as 14 other beautifully preserved buildings along Main Street. Port Deposit, a mid-19th century river town listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offers a glimpse into the past while celebrating the season.
