Welcome, good gentles all, to the Port Credit Renaissance Faire!

Come forth and partake in the revels of the Age of Chivalry, where Knights and their noble Coursers clash in feats of sword and skill, where thou mayst test thy mettle in “Fight the Knight,” and behold thrilling contests upon horseback. Try thy hand at Archery and the throwing of the Axe, marvel at the majesty of Birds of Prey, witness the craft of the Blacksmith at his forge, and wander through a bustling Medieval Encampment.

Be entertained by wondrous spectacles and merry minstrels: the conjurations of Zoltan the Adequate, the lofty feats of Aerialist Kai in Wonderland, sweet airs upon the lute by MacLeod the Bard, the gentle strings of Harpist Carol Farrar, and lively bands such as Thunder Glove and Whiskey Business. Peruse the stalls of merchants, crafters, readers, and skilled artisans.

Feast heartily upon roast pig, mighty turkey legs, and a bounty of victuals fit for lords and ladies alike.

So come, eat, drink, and make merry!

Info: Niagara Historical Fencing is a non-profit organization which teaches fencing through a historical lens. Our instructors study treatises from the 15th century all the way up to the 19th century to try to faithfully recreate how people engaged in sword duels during their respective time periods.

Niagara Historical Fencing will be demonstrating some free sparring at the Niagara Renaissance Faire to show you what a duel in an era past might look like!
