Wellness in Bloom has collaborated again this year with Sail Superior to bring you an unforgettable full-day Porphyry Island Yoga & Adventure experience!Hop aboard the zodiac, ‘Superior Rocket' and enjoy a thrilling adventure across the Thunder Bay Harbour around the ‘Giant’ to Lake Superior's second oldest lighthouse, Porphyry Point Lighthouse (1873) located along the Black Bay peninsula.
Sharing the legend of the Peeping Maiden, rounding the Thunder Cape of the Giant and getting up close and personal with the infamous Sea Lion, this adventure highlights must-sees of the Thunder Bay Harbour. Passing along the backside of the Giant, Silver Islet tells of mining stories from yesteryear.
Once on shore, immerse yourself in an all-levels yoga and meditation session on a secluded volcanic black sand beach, followed by a nourishing vegetarian picnic.
Continue your adventure with a hike through whispering pines, birch, and spruce of the Boreal forest, and explore the island’s rich history.
