The Future Fund Fitness Class

Join Poppy Barley and Runaway Workout Club for a running and HIIT interval class in support of girls! 100% of your class fee will be donated to KidSport Edmonton, covering sport registration fees for local girls.

Inspiring girls to get active, these classes are entry-level and suitable for ages 12 and older. Invite a girl you know—a daughter, niece, or friend—and work out together!

Need to Know:

• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to fill out a waiver
• Bring your running shoes and a water bottle, and wear something comfortable to work out in
• 1 ticket per person is required regardless of age
• Participants aged 12-16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have written permission from a parent or guardian to attend.
• A post-workout snack will be provided from Laid Back Snacks

This month, The Poppy Barley Future Fund is raising $15,000 to cover 50 girls’ sport registration fees.

Girls who play sports have higher confidence, self-esteem, and better mental health. Yet up to 62% of Canadian girls are not participating in sport. Cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian kids out of organized sport. For girls who want to play, cost should not be a factor.
