Aunt Hazel's Annual Christmas Party

It’s the big night of Aunt Hazel’s highly anticipated annual Christmas party. November 24, 1941. The food is ready and laid out on the table, the house is decorated, and the announcement has been sent to every household within a twelve-block radius. Attendance is expected to surpass last year’s event of 150 people.

Guests are arriving when suddenly, there is a clamour in the front foyer. Everyone rushes to the scene to see Aunt Hazel's teenage niece Delores lying on the floor.

What has happened to her? Has she fainted? Perhaps she has eaten something that didn’t agree with her and she has succumbed to stomach pains? No one is certain. Emergency services have been called and Delores will be taken to the Misericordia Hospital promptly.

What the doctors discover turns this unfortunate incident into a homicide. Who would harm such a well-liked young woman?
