Poppy Army Meet Up. Bring Those Needles & Crochet Hooks

Coffee, cakes, breakfast!!! We heard the Wheatsheaf Pub and Grill offer a range of breakfast snacks, coffee and cakes and I know The Poppy Army really need to keep our energy levels up with all these poppies we are making.
Everyone has been so wonderful. Volunteer knitters/crocheters/hand stitchers and those who just want to help as we have many tasks lined up plus those that want to learn to knit and crochet as the Poppy is a great first project and we have teams on standby to help get you started.
We also need volunteer Stem Constructors ( no experience necessary). It is all fun and you will have a giggle as we are a warm and friendly group.
So bring those needles, crochet hooks, sewing needles, any yarn donations you may have in red, purple, black, green and white yarn .
We have thousands of poppies to make for Rememberance displays in and around our area. it is all hands on deck and it,s for a wonderful cause and part of something really special.
