Due to the popularity of this event we are returning to the warm hearted and fun loving Fir Tree Inn.
There is a number if parking areas near the Fir Tree Inn. There is a town carpark at the back of Woburn Sands High Street if you go down Russell Street and you can take a very short walk to the High Street and turn left and head up the High Street and The Fir Tree Inn is just at the top of the High Street near the mini roundabout. You can also park on Church Road, Aspley Heath and walk down plus there is a parking bay just opposite The Fir Tree pub just across the road. If anyone has a disabled sticker please contact The Fir Tree who are very accommodating and they will be more than happy to work something out for you
We also have a number of Poppy Army members that live near to each other in and around the community so please shout out as it may be possible you csn lift share too.
It will be the usual scenario. Bring your needles and crochet hooks, your current poppy project and any yarn donations in red, purple, black, white and green yarn.
Knitters/Crocheters/Hand Stitchers are all welcome and we also have plenty to do for those of you that don,t knit or crochet that would love to pop along and help construct stems.
Newbie members are always welcome to join and those that would love to knit or crochet we have teams on standby to help too. You will have a giggle.
We have thousands and thousands of poppies to make for Rememberance displays in and around our community.
