🏀NEW 3X3 TOURNAMENT IN POPLAR📅Mark your calendars: Saturday, May 30th in Poplar we will be hosting a FIBA-style 3X3 tournament.
This tournament will be the first of its kind in our area.

3rd & 4th Grade
5th & 6th Grade
7th & 8th Grade
High School
Men’s & Women’s Open
*Grade levels will be based on the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

WHAT IS 3X3?
This isn’t your traditional 3 on 3 tournament. 3X3 is fast paced—the games are quick with constant movement and little breaks.
Here’s a short rundown of what makes 3x3 different:
- There is little time to rest. After a made basket, play doesn’t stop. No taking it out. No checking it up. The switch from offense to defense happens immediately!
- The games are short: 10 minute games or first to 21
- Strict 4-player teams. You’re allowed only one sub.
- Shot clock (if available) is 12 seconds.
- Even the basketball itself is different. The official 3x3 basketball from Wilson is the size of a women’s basketball, but is the weight of a men’s basketball.
3x3 is a 10-minute sprint.
