Short talks and Q&As on Museum topics
This month, Kit Brooks, the Museum's curator of Asian art, will discuss the special exhibition "Takeda Hideo’s Genpei: Defying Authority," which features a series of silkscreen prints that cynically reinterprets Japan’s Genpei War (1180–85) within the context of twentieth-century social upheavals.
After the talk, head upstairs to the Allen Adler and Frances Beatty Adler Gallery for an informal conversation with the curator.
This event is free and open to the public, no tickets or registration required. Learn more: https://artmuseum.princeton.edu/exhibitions-events/events/2026/pop-talk-curator-kit-brooks-2026-11-13
