Eliza Winslow is a fiber artist from Goldsboro who holds a BFA in Textile Design from East Carolina University. Through weaving, dyeing, and other textile techniques, she explores themes of Southern identity, family, community, and nature.
Her recent work examines the tradition of storytelling on Southern porches. Drawing parallels between storytelling and weaving, Winslow uses interlocking threads to reflect how individual experiences and community connections come together to create strength, meaning, and a shared sense of place.
