Pop-Up Comedy Night at Cix Gallery and Lounge

Join Canton Comedy Boom on Friday, April 17th for a pop up comedy show at Cix Art Gallery and Lounge in Wooster!

Cix is a new art gallery and lounge that showcases art, furniture, and events in the Wooster area. It is a beautiful space with multiple galleries and studios. We are so thrilled to combine forces with other creative folks! Your ticket includes complimentary water, soda, beer and wine.

We’re bringing some great comedians to Wooster. The line-up features Cam Godfrey, Angelo Maneage, Tim Wolfe, Matthew J Farkas, Harrison Poole, and Ben Wilkinson.

Cam is a standup, sketch, and improv comedian who performs regularly in Cleveland. She was the recipient of the Rookie of the Year Award at the 2023 Cleveland Comedy Awards, and “Loudest Girl” in her high school yearbook. Her one woman show, Sorry, I’m Bi, has been featured at Impostors Comedy Club in Cleveland and will be featured at an upcoming micro theater festival.

Angelo is a comedian and artist. His one person show went up at Convergence-Continuum Theater in 2018; there is little evidence this play ever happened. He was recently nominated for a 2025 Cleveland Comedy Award for his writing, and he’s been featured with Secret Society Comedy, Don’t Tell - Cleveland, Snowflake Comedy, Con Tu: A Variety Show, BirderLight Theater Festival, Imposters Theater and Hilarities.

Tim has won numerous comedy competitions, he’s a headlining comic on The Brewery Comedy Tour, and “a staple at comedy clubs within a 50 mile radius of his mom’s house.” Most recently, Tim won the Best Long Joke Award at the 2024 Cleveland Comedy Awards for his material about his father.

This is going to be a fun evening in a unique setting with a creative community of artists and comedians, and we encourage you to bring your friends and family to enjoy the comedy. Be sure to give yourself some time to check out the gallery before or after the show!
