Office work has transformed in the last decade, and collaborative workspaces have gained massively in popularity.

They provide a third option between the home office and the traditional workplace, offering everything from pay-as-you-go hot desks to small private offices. At the same time they make available a community that’s vital to so many sole traders and micro businesses.

Jon Trigg set up Freedom Works in 2016 to deliver collaborative workspaces in regional towns. Today, it has 11 sites through Sussex and the south, with a turnover of £3.6m and 5,000 members. PLATF9RM has recently joined the group, though it will remain a separate brand.

At our March pop-up breakfast, lifelong Seagulls fan Jon will talk through his journey, his vision and his plans. He’ll explain how these workspaces provide a stronger opportunity for businesses to start up, grow and scale. We hope to see you there!

Pop-up Breakfasts, as their name suggests, take place at different venues all over the city, many of them special places in their own right. They attract 40-50 attendees and are perfect for easy, friendly networking.

There is a wide range of people who attend across all sectors and all sizes, from sole traders and start-ups to some of the biggest businesses in the city.

At each event, there is a guest speaker, who’ll talk about their experiences of running a business and their own personal journey.

If it is your first Chamber networking event or you haven’t attended in a while the Chamber team are always on hand to make introductions.

What's the refund policy? Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email for a refund* or you’ll be required to pay for your place in full.

Can I attend if I am not a member of the Chamber? If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast). After this, you will need to join the Chamber to enjoy the benefits of membership. If you'd like to join the Chamber you can find out more on our website.
