Pop-STAR Dance Series!
About this Event
In this 4 Week Intensive, not only will you be coached on technique, confidence, connection to camera, and performance, but you will get a real feel to see what it's like to work with a troupe of dancers...and dance like you OWN the stage!
And what better way to kick off this Pop Star Intensive with the Queen of Pop, herself, Britney Spears!! With that said, we will be dancing to Britney's "YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY" song. This routine will be catered specifically to the dancers who sign up for this Exclusive Event! (Keep in mind if there's a majority vote for another one of Britney's Iconic songs, I am happy to change this selection to fit the majority vote)
During this Intensive, we will meet weekly for 3 weeks and then Perform during Week 4! And YES, you can invite your friends or family to come see you SHINE! Entirely OPTIONAL of course! This Night will be professionally recorded.
The night of the Performance, we will have a special Britney Spears Photoshoot in full glam and costume (which we shall discuss) and you will be professionally lit and filmed, so you can have the ultimate PopSTAR Experience....because shouldn't everyone get to Experience this!?
We will meet once a week every Thursday for three hours. Week #4 will be the Showcase night where we will perform the routine for friends and family <3
POP STAR DANCE INTENSIVE - feat. BRITNEY SPEARS
LOCATION: THE STUDIO at Theatre Raleigh Arts Center
Weeks 1, 2, 3, & 4 will meet at 3027 Barrow Dr, Raleigh, NC
DANCE INTENSIVE SCHEDULE:
WEEK 1: OCT 1 (TH.)- Get to Know Each Other, Set Expectations, Warmup, Get a Feel for the Routine, Coachin
Meet Time: 7:30 - 10:30 PM

WEEK 2: OCT 8 (TH.)- Warmup, Learn Routine, Coaching
Meet Time: 7:30 - 10:30 PM

WEEK 3: OCT 15 (TH.)- Warmup, Practice Routine, Coaching
Meet Time: 7:30 - 10:30 PM
Location: THE STUDIO
WEEK 4: OCT 22 (TH.) / Performance Night!- Britney Spears Photoshoot, Warmup, Final Routine Review & Practice, Performance
Meet Time: 7:00 PM | Showtime: 8:00 PM (still finalizing the time, so this is tentative)

*Professional Photo and Video Capture of Showcase will Happen on this SHOWCASE Date
**The reason I want to meet for 3 hours Weeks 1,2, & 3 is so we can have ample time to discuss the vision as a team and work on choreography that is unique to each dancer.I want this to be a collective effort. Your ideas and suggestions matter!
