Join the POP Club every Saturday in September for free, hands-on activities that teach kids where their food comes from, how it's grown, and why fresh, local food matters.
Each week brings a new adventure:
🌱September 12 – Cycle of the Farmer
Learn how farmers grow our food and discover the challenges they face throughout the growing season!
🎃September 19 – Past & Present Pumpkins
Pumpkins have a long history in California and are special to many communities. Learn more about past and present pumpkins with the POP Club.
🌻September 26 – Little Seed Savers
Learn how to save seeds from fruits and veggies to grow in your garden next season! You’ll even have the chance to take home seeds of your own.
🌿October 3 – Putting Our Garden to Sleep
The end of the growing season means its time to let the garden rest. Come learn about cover crops and how they help prepare the soil for the next season.
📍Open to families with children ages 12 and under. Parent or guardian supervision is required.
