Our moment is now. Across Oakland County, working people are being squeezed—by skyrocketing rents, unfair utility bills, political corruption, and fear.It’s time we build our power together.
Join the Pontiac-Area Organizing Committee for our official kickoff meeting. This is where we move from frustration to action. We’re building a regional movement to fight for our homes, our communities, and our future.
At this meeting, we’ll organize around our core campaigns:
🔴 Tenants, Unite! Learn how to fight slumlords, form tenant unions, and win universal renter protections in your city.
🔵 Defend Our Neighbors. Help build a true sanctuary network to protect immigrant families from raids and push for Welcoming City policies.
🟢 Fight for Public Goods. Let’s organize for community-owned utilities and city-run grocery stores—so our basic needs are affordable and owned by us, not corporate shareholders.
🟠 Get Money Out of Politics. Join the fight to make the rich pay their fair share and end the corporate control of our democracy.
This isn't just a meeting. It’s the first step in building a powerful, member-led organization capable of winning real change. Whether you're from Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Rochester, Waterford, or anywhere in between—you have a role to play.
