Join us Saturday, October 3rd at Chester Lewis Park in Wichita, Kansas for Poetry & Pop-Up, a daytime celebration of spoken word, creativity, local business, food, and community.

Whether you’re a poet ready to compete, a creative looking to connect, an entrepreneur showcasing your brand, or simply looking for something different to do in Wichita, this event is for you.

$500 IN CASH PRIZES

Poets will take the mic and compete live in front of a panel of special guest judges for a chance to win a share of $500 in cash prizes.

Awards include:

• 1st Place
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• People’s Choice Award

The audience will also have a voice. Come support your favorite poet and help decide who takes home the People’s Choice Award.

11:00 AM — Poetry & Pop-Up Begins

Come early, explore the vendors, grab food, connect with the community, and experience live poetry throughout the day.

4:00 PM — Finalist Showcase

The competition heats up as the top poets return to the stage for the final round.
