Ponderosa Pine with Andy Smith
About this Event
Andy Smith, commonly acknowledged as "king" of yamadori in this country, transplants 300-400 trees per year for bonsai and has supplied demo and workshop trees for many of the world's best bonsai artists. Andy is the guest artist for the MBS 55th Annual Exhibit and will be hosting a Ponderosa Pine for 8 participants. Participants will purchase a Ponderosa Pine from Andy at the workshop
*NOTE: Andy will be bringing collected trees from South Dakota. You must purchase a tree from Andy this day and then have him guide you into the early stages of creating a stunning bonsai. The prices will vary and are paid directly to the artist on the day of the event.

Participants must have their own tools and wire for the workshop.
Maximum of 8 participants.
Must be an MBS member in good standing to take this workshop.
